Do you mean this?

( 1 / (x^2 - x) ) / ( 1 / (x^2 - 1) )

(x^2 - 1) / (x^2 - x)

(x + 1)(x - 1) / (x)(x - 1)

(x + 1) / x

. . . or 1 + 1 / x
