how to solve 3x-2y=20 and 2x+3y+9

1. 3x-2y =20  or y=(3x-20)/2

2. 2x +3y=-9

2x+3*(3x-20)/2 =-9

or 4x +3*(2x -20)=-18

4x +6x -60 -18

10x=60-18=42

x=4.2  

 y=(3x-20)/2=(3*42. -20)/2=(12.6 -20)/2 =-7.4/2 =-3.7
