8n + 2 - 10n < 20
-2n + 2 < 20 {combined like terms}
-2n < 18 {subtracted 2 from both sides}
n > -9 {divided both sides by -2 and changed the inequality sign}

- whenever you multiply or divide both sides of an inequality by a negative number, you have to change, or flip, the inequality sign
