In a right-angled triangle the longest side is called the hypotenuse and by Pythagoras' Theorem, its length is the square root of the sum of the squares of the other two sides. So the hypotenuse=sqrt(60^2+80^2)=sqrt(3600+6400)=sqrt(10000)=100cm.
