4x+7y=13  2x-5y=-19

4x + 7y = 13
2x -  5y =-19   Subtract this equation from the first equation
2x+12y = 32

2x + 12y = 32
x + 6y = 16
x= -6y+16

4(-6y+16) +7y = 13
-24y + 64 + 7y = 13
-24y + 7y = 13 - 64 = -51
-17y = -51
y = 3   <<<<<

2x - 5*3 = -19
2x = -4
x = -2    <<<<<

4(-2) + 7(3) = 13
-8 + 21 = 13

2(-2) - 5(3) = -19
-4 - 15 = -19
