cube whose volume is 270 units^3

as it is a cube, all the sides are the same.  The length * the width * the height gives the volume.  As all these are the same, the volume is the lenth^3.  If you cube root the volume you will find this length.  This is 3* third root of ten, approx 6.46.  This lenth squared, will give the surface area of one side, which is 9*10^2/3.  This needs to be multiplied by how many faces a cube has - 6. Therefore the answer is six times 9*10^2/3 = 54*10^2/3 which is aprox 250.646
