what is the correct order pair for 3x +4y =38 5x -5y = -30

3x + 4y = 38              5x - 5y = -30
  * 5                                * 4
------------------          -----------------
15x + 20y = 190       20x - 20y = -120

Add them.

    15x + 20y = 190
+ (20x - 20y = -120)
-----------------------------
    35x          = 70
x = 2

5x - 5y = -30
5(2) - 5y = -30
10 - 5y = -30
-5y = -40
y = 8

(2, 8)
