The critical points are at x=-2 and x=3.

When -2≤x≤3 y=x+2-(x-3)=5. So between these values of x there is a horizontal line at y=5.

When x<-2, y=-(x+2)-(x-3)=-x-2-x+3=-2x+1.

When x>3, y=x+2+x-3=2x-1.
