If the distance is X and total time is T we have:

T=X/(10*6)+X/(6*12)+X/(5*24)+32/48; this shows how the time is made up of periods;

X-X(1/10+1/6+1/5)=32; this shows how the distance is made up and from it we can find X.

X-(3+5+6)X/30=32; 16X/30=32 so X=32*30/16=60 km.

Now we can work out T=1+5/6+1/2+2/3=(6+5+3+4)/6=3 hrs.
