2x+6y=18

Can be rewritten in slope-intercept form (y=mx + b)

6y = -2x + 18      ..... move 2x across to the RHS

y = -1/3x + 3     .....divide both sides by 6

Slope = m = 1/3

Y intercept = b = 1/3
