A powerful search light rotating from a point P is positioned 50 m from the prison courtyard walls. The courtyard is long enough to make the ligh almost invisible at each end. the illumination of the light is represented by the equation d=50 sec 2pi t, where d is distance, in meters, from the light to the wall and i is time, in minutes.

a) Create a graph of the path of the ligth for 2 minutes from starting point A.

b) If the effective distance for the light is 100 m, how many seconds elapse before the prison wall is not illuminated sufficiently?

c) How many seconds does it then for the light to become effective on the opposite wall?

d) Determine how many meters of each wall are effectively iluminated as the light rotates.
