Split the interval into two halves and find the midpoint=(0.050+0.0140)/2=0.0640/2=0.0320=p. 0.0320-0.0140=0.050-0.0320=0.0180=e. 0.0320-0.0180<0.0320<0.0320+0.0180 or p-0.0180<p<p+0.0180.
