You need pi for this. The volume of a cone is (pi)(1/3)*(radius squared)*(height). That's the formula.

So V=(3.14)*(1/3)*13*13*27=(3.14)*169*9. You use a calculator for this to save time: 1521 times pi=4778.36 cu cm or 4778.36 cm^3 or 4778.36 cc. To the nearest tenth: V=4778.4cm^3. 3.14 is an approximation for pi. Most scientific calculators have a key for pi.
