If y=mx+a then we can find a by plugging in (-6,-3): -3=-6m+a, a=6m-3; so y=mx+6m-3, or y=m(x+6)-3. Because we don't know the slope we can't graph the line, but we do know that all the possible lines go through (-6,-3). The picture shows various lines passing through (-6,-3) with different slopes.
