(3x-8)(2x^2+4x-9)   must be 3x-8=0  x=8/3 (1)

2x^2+4x-9=0  solving for x = -1+sqrt(5.5)   and. x=-1-sqrt(5.5)

or x = 1.345   and. x=-3.345

so x1=8/3   x2=1.345   x3=-3.345
