My niece got the following problem and we do not understand the answer: write a number less than 5.4 but greater than 5.09. The answer she was given is 9.3. Could someone please explain this answer?

5.09 ,5.10,5.11,5.12,5.13, ..........5.21,5.22, ......... 5.36,5.37,5.38,5.39,5.40  

Do you see the numbers between 5.09 and 5.40(same as 5.4)?

Any number between the two is an answer.

9.3 is incorrect no matter how you look at it, that must be a typo
