what are the coordinates of l if k is the midpoint of jk?

​Can you please help me solve this problem. I'm not understanding it. I have a couple of other questions if you don't mind helping me when you email me the answer please let me know if you wanna help with the other 4 questions Thank You!

To get the mid-point of a line segment add the x co-ordinates of the end points and divide by 2

and similarly add the y co-ordinates of the end points and divide by 2 

 

(-5+x)/2=1

-5+x=2

x=7

(-3+y)/2=2

-3+y=4

y=7

(x,y)=(7,7)
