A= w *l

l = 2w - 4    , A = 70 cm^2

70 = w(2w - 4)

70 = 2w^2 -4w

2w^2 - 4w - 70 = 0

w^2 - 2w - 35 = 0               -35 = -7*5

(w -7)(w +5) = 0

w - 7 = 0     , w = 7

w +5 = 0         w = -5 ( W can not be a negativ number)

w = 7, l = 2*7 - 4 = 10

A = w*l

70 = 7*10

70=70
