Since there are 3 white balls in urn 2 and there are 7 white balls in all, the probability of selecting a white ball from urn 2 is 3/7, and the probability of selecting a red ball from urn 2 is 1/7. The combined probability of one white and one red from urn 2 is (3/7)(1/7)=3/49.
