 1) 3y = 2x + 14                                             2)2x-3y =2

      y = 2x/3 + 14/3                                               -3y = -2x +2

                                                                               y = -2x/(-3) + 2/(-3)

compare both equations  with y = mx + c

m1 = 2/3                                                                                           m2 = -2/(-3) = 2/3

therefore m1 = m2
