line 1: -3x+5y=4 . . . line 2: 3x=2-y .... or 3x+y=2 . . . line1+line2:(3x-3x) +(5y+y)=4+2 . . . 6y=6 . .. . y=1 . . . from line2...3x=2-y=2-1, so 3x=1 or x=1/3 x=1/3
