lets modify the equations

X = Y + 13

3X = Y + 19  <----- apply the first equation to this one

3 ( Y + 13 ) = Y + 19

3Y + 39 = Y + 19

2Y = -20

Y = -10 <---- apply this to the first equation

X = (-10) + 13

X = 3
