The hour hand makes two revolutions (4π) in one day so in 3 days it makes 6 revolutions (12π). The distance travelled is 12π*8=96π cm=301.59cm (approx).

The minute hand makes 24 revolutions (48π) in one day and 72 (144π) in 3 days. Distance travelled is 144π*12=1728π=5428.67cm (approx).
