If B is the mass of the basket and b the mass of a ball, B+3b=3.64 and B+5b=5.26. So if we subtract one equation from the other we get 2b=1.62kg, making b=0.81kg. Therefore B=3.64-2.43=5.26-4.05=1.21kg.
