Given

<1 = 3x+6 and <2=6(x-2)

but, <1= <2 since they are alternate interior angle.

So, 3x + 6 = 6(x-2)

or 3(x+2) = 6(x-2)

or x+2 = 2x-4

or x=6

Therefore the measure of <1 = 3x+6 = 3(6)+6 = 24
