The Product of two consecutive even integers is 80. Find the two integers.

Let the two numbers be 2n and (2n+2)

Then we have,

2n*(2n+2) = 80

n(n + 1) = 20

n*2 + n - 20 = 0

(n - 4)(n + 5) = 0

n = 4, n = -5

Giving a solution for positive integers only, then n = 4

Answer: the two numbers are 8 and 10
