First, divide the second equation by -3: 2x-2y=1. Double this: 4x-4y=2 and add to the first equation: x=3. Substitute this value of x in 2x-2y=1, 2y=5, so y=2.5.

Check: -9+10=1, OK; -18+15=-3, OK. So the unique solution is x=3, y=2.5.
