Let x=weight of $2.50/kg nuts and y=weight of $1/kg nuts.

2.5x+y=30×1.5=$45, x+y=30, so y=30-x.

2.5x+30-x=45, 1.5x=15, x=10kg so y=20kg.

10kg of $2.50/kg nuts plus 20kg of $1/kg nuts.
